Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Stress here too for A levels, but to be honest I think it's only me feeling it. I'm doing my best to keep my stress away from ds, but I really wish he'd do some work.

The sense of relief at getting here was huge, boy2 is a bit stressed but I think mostly just relieved to have finished lessons. He had a hug and a cry after school on Friday when I was able to tell him how proud we are of him.

Good luck to everyone x

LittleD went on time and didn't need a lift but said she felt sick and had a headache. Can't have it all. Minor victory at the weekend when she accepted that working (paid, not school) Sun night was a bad idea, as was a sleepover at a friend's Sat.

Good luck to all.

I have S16 doing GCSEs and D17 doing A Levels.

Nervous for both of them for different reasons but fingers crossed. It’s going to be an eventful few weeks.

I feel quite glad there's no external exams here this year. Did the A Level and GCSE double last year and can't remember quite how we managed with son taking over the kitchen, daughter taking over the living room and being worried we'd be told off for breathing!

Daughter has year 12 mocks in a few weeks time so I'm sure there's time for me to be told off then!

Boy3 has been playing the new Zelda game almost constantly since Fri. Boy2 decided sensibly to wait until after exams.
Sun afternoon they start swapping memes and video clips, and this was my hubby's response 🤣

Good on him for trying.
