Something on the shelf behind me - I haven't got time to check but possibly the NEH - replaces 'spirits' with presence' and 'shadows' with 'pageant'. Or if I've misremembered it I *like* the changes anyway - it's the version I sing in the shower.
O come, Thou Day-Spring Come and cheer Our presence by Thine advent here Disperse the gloomy clouds of night And death’s dark pageant put to flight
Rejoice, rejoice, Emmanuel Shall come to thee, o Israel

Climbed on the watter. Felt my legs, climbed off again and ate lots of breakfast instead.

I may be sort of poof that climbs off a watter after 12 minutes but I have cracking Earworm today, dunno where it's come from must be 15 years since I've listened to it...
My father when I was younger took me up on to the hill
That looks down on the city smog and above the factory spill
He said, "Now this is where I come when I wanted to be free"
But he never was in his lifetime, but these words stuck with me, hey
And so I ran from all of this and I climbed that highest hill
I looked down on to my life above the factory spill
I looked down onto my life as the family disgrace
Then all my friends on the starting line their wages off to chase
Yes and all my friends and all their jobs and all the bloody waste
There's only one way of life
And that's your own, your own, your own
There's only one way of life
And that's your own, that's your own, that's your own
