Actually, Speedy, I was thinking I would bring along some 'raw brownies', which are not actually brownies and are free of all the things you mention as far as I know - they are mostly made of dates, nuts, cocoa powder and some maple syrup I think, and they are really delicious! I thought they'd be good energy fuel for tired runners and can be eaten by most people (apart from nut allergy sufferers, of course )I'm sure there will be enough for the supporters as well!

I'm a bit grumpy. Not ran since Wednesday, have knee pain. Doesn't feel great and unsure how long it's going to take. Missed my long run today. Hope everyone else is going ok. Sorry that CC2 is out.

Whiteflash - try not to get too stressed, there is still a while to go before the day and I'm sure you will have already done plenty of training, so you can afford a bit of necessary 'down time' in order to get fully fit and make sure you don't aggravate whatever the problem is. I know what a frustrating situation that can be, though, so I do understand how you feel!

Ran the Ashby 20, was meant to run it at LR pace, ended up at MP instead. Felt good all the way round - no complaints. Pull back week (inc a trip to the physio)
A few days will not hurt ur overall target of getting round White, prob do u a lot of good as well - be positive.
