Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've just realised that the first week is the weekend I am up in Wales to run a half mara :(

I have volunteered to help out at other times though

I've got no excuses for not doing this one.
It will be interesting to see how fast it is though. It's flat, but essentially all off road.

Anj - you're not alone - I will make the first one but then miss the next 3. Still I hope to go every week as it's only 10 minutes jog away.

When it's dry I think it will be fairly quick, think it might be a tad damp in places if we have a wet winter.

I was thinking the same WD, I don't think that particular area of TVP is quick at all, the grass section is uneven which doesn't help

The beauty of the parkrun is that you can measure your progress week by week, regardless of the nature of the course. Then, when the opportunity arises to run another flat and fast 5km, you'll get a real indication of your true 5k time.

We'll try and make it at some point, but a bit too involved in Basingstoke now to make it regularly...

This should be my nearest parkrun soon then - doesn't look far from the train station. Am also away that first weekend, but looking forward to one of these later :-)
