Didn't have my gels with me .. and didn't get there early enough to see if I could get any from anywhere. Had to rely on the water and the lucozade (which I could only have about 2 sips of before feeling a bit sick). BUT managed a PB by 4 mins

I saw about 4 or 5 Fetchie vests go past and gave a shout out - as i did to all the locals that i know - saw you Sazza It was a bit last minute spotting people as there were a lot of people edging further and further out into the road so couldn't see who was coming until they were almost in line of sight. me and the chap next to me had a bit of a grumble about it, like a couple of old gits Sorry i missed Mick & Phil, i was around miles 8-9 trying to get the crowd going a bit. My hands were numb with clapping! Well done to you all. |

I also got .19 over on the Garmin. Surely those 2 quick underpasses wouldn't add that much extra on??

13.27 miles here, but a 10 minute pb (only my second attempt) and all toenails survived unscathed. I did enjoy the batmobile.
