Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Right having walked to and from the shop for some food and having eaten breakfast i am currently going through the 465 books i have on Goodreads to see what gaps i have.

Yes it's on a spreadsheet ;)

I'll report back when done.

I'm hoping i cover quite a lot of the years. I suspect it's the ones from nearer my birth that will be missing.

Bit of gooling etc and thats them done too.

1978 was The Stand, 1981 was George's marvellous medicine as i know damn well i read that as a kid, 1990 was er Jurassic Park.

Technically got this year to do but thats a triviality as there are several books on my pre order list.

You can use wikipedia like this

en.wikipedia.org

Gives you a good idea, can also search for authors and do it that way too.

Mine would have been harder if i wasn't reading Brit Horror when at school hence the Hutson and Herbert on my list
