I knew I'd been in a shop with running shoes somewhere in Portimao and a little research suggests it was probably Foot Locker in the Aqua Centre. It seemed pretty expensive though and when I said that a staff member suggested that maybe I didn't really have proper running shoes. Pfft. Even if you don't find any shoes, the open air upper deck food court is worth a visit, as is the fancy cake display in the big supermarket cake ;-).

Dvorak, what a co-incidence as we had just popped into the Decathlon and noticed the shopping centre, so had a look around and they have a couple of stores, including an Asics one and The Athlete's Foot but I gave in and ordered the same model/make that I have already but from a German supplier through Amazon as I was getting worried that I might not have time to try on different brands etc and thought 'better the devil I know'! I did drool going past the cake display..have to be dragged away from stuff like that by my other half. Macca, I think that when we were in Lagos, I didn't get to explore as much as I would've liked!

Got something to say?
