Need to buy running shoes in Portugal - Help?! Online or shop (on Algarve)

I need to replace my NB Leadville Trail shoes (size 9 Ladies) and been trawling sites online to see who delivers to Portugal )even from within Portugal). I haven't a clue on what/where/who sells running shoes on the Algarve. Been online and Amazon Spain seemed likeliest bet but when I go online there, they say they don't deliver to Portugal. Any runners from Portugal or who have experience buying kit here? Any advice/tips appreciated :0

Have you tried wiggle.co.uk? I think they deliver all over Europe.

Thanks Liliacha. They do deliver here :). I just checked though and they don't go up to my size (UK 9), so this will probably be my biggest problem, having big feet :0, more than the delivery but I will keep trying.

Macca, do you remember its name or whereabouts more or less? (else I can check online or with some locals as we are pretty close to Lagos, in fact a nice run away from it :). I did wonder if I should just stop some runners whizzing past me but not sure what the locals would think about being accosted by a stranger like that). Liliacha, the men's ones are a little too wide for me so I stick to the ladies' variety. Which brands have you tried in the Men's size 8 that fit nicely? I can get size 9's ladies but they are very rare. I can see the right sizes on websites in the US, Aus, DE and bought a pair in SA once but after 2 days of trawling UK websites, they all only go up to size 8. Am going to start a 'Big Banana Feet Girls Run Too' protest one day ;-). |

I have used Adidas Adizero Adios, Scott Kinabalus, La Sportiva Bushidos, Salomon Pro Sense, and various Inov-8 models in a size 8.

sorry Jenny - it's in the main shopping street in the old town. It's a shoe shop with a small running section hidden away at the back. I'll have another look when I'm there in June if you haven't found it by then! |
