Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Wriggling Snake
The adding an image would be nice, both of mine are rather scenic. As well as potentially quick.

@chunkywizard - it matches the first nine points just fine, but because Mile 22 forks off to the left at the end, and your interval session today forks off to the right, it fails to match the last point. I'd suggest deleting Mile 22, and rebuilding it again. I figure you made it before I added the 'red snake', so it was probably hard to guess where the end point was. Dragging it back just a smidge will hopefully mean that the final point of your new mile will happen before or at the t-junction.

I like the red snake very much, and also that you can easily make the end of a route a Fetch Mile just by going to the end of the slider.

To Do List
1) Make run and bike into separate leaderboard tables
2) A 'Back' button that returns you to the last-viewed area rather than home
3) Ability to add an image.
4) Elevation graph
5) Larger clickable area for individual miles
6) Some way of picking up your historical visits
7) Jump To Location box for easier navigation
8) Remove the 'Build A Mile' link if there's no GPS trace available
9) A way to see your own miles
10) Leaderboard of people who have visited most miles
11) Badges for creators and visitors

Regarding point (2), when you view a specific mile, the 'Back to the Fetch Mile Map' link uses the current mile as the centre point.

Someone else mentioned this a few pages back - when on laptop and monitor you have to zoom in a lot before you can actually click on the route and be taken to it.

I created a route yesterday and ran it today :-) I have the fastest time on that mile :-) OK it's the only time so far but small victories are fine.

I like these Fetch Miles a lot and I'm planning an lovely scenic run this weekend so that I can create some more.

How do I add a Fetch Mile?
Go to any entry in your training log, and look for the Build A Mile link just above the map. Click that, and drag the slider to highlight the relevant mile. Give it a name and a description, and save it!
