Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

What I’d like to do is the Affric-Kintail way. Have been on bits of it and it is stunning.

GregP you’d have to do it self supported as parts are pretty remote. No baggage transfer. My god it’s beautiful though.

If you want guided holidays try https://nwfrontiers.com/. I went with them on my own for a number of years (admittedly some years ago now) and always had good experiences.

I did the WHW on my own some years ago too. I can't remember now which company I used to book accommodation and do luggage transfer

I also did the Dales Way on my own, which I loved. I used mickledore.co.uk for accommodation booking and luggage transfer. Again, not a recent recommendation.

Hello Fetchie friends

Am planning a walking holiday: three days walking from one centre, within about three hours drive from London. Preferably coast. Any suggestions?

Norfolk Coast Path? We stayed in Hunstanton and used a mix of car and very regular Coast Path bus services.
