Here's a question, boys and girls:
Who would you choose as a teacher/partner out of the current pros? Same sex allowed (obvs) for whatever reason.
I used to pick Artem but he's gone. I think Gio now for me. Although Nikita is coming up the straight as he's inventive and kind.

Same reason as me Mandy? IE great choreography and a tough but fabulous teacher?

Faye and Gio doing Fever is one of my favourite ever Strictly dances. Raffo texted me tonight that he is getting fed up of Street Dance couples choices. I kind of agree - Molly and Carlos v dull tonight, I wish a few would choose Jazz or musical theatre or whatever they want to call it.
Jazz hands! Fosse!

I have been very impressed with Nikita. He's doing amazingly with Ellie. It helps that she's thrown herself into it all so wholeheartedly, admittedly. But he did well with Tilly Ransay too, who was more diffident.

Of the current pros, my first choice would be Amy. She always comes over as really friendly and bubbly. She also sent my daughter a video message a few years back which was a surprise. Luba would be my reserve as she hadn't had much joy with the partners she has been given and she is much better than that.

Of the current lot, I think Neil or Johannes would be the most fun and Nikita would be the best teacher.
I completely agree about street dance Sharkie - never liked it much (with some rare exceptions such as Bill and Oti, and Mel and Neil in the Christmas special last year). Of the couples' choice options, I do quite like the contemporary numbers, but theatre jazz is the best IMO.

I could watch Nikita all night, he dances beautifully. I don’t think I’d want to be partnered with him though, he’s a bit too “hands on” on the Take 2 sofa for me. My fav teacher would be Gio.

I like contemporary if it's done properly but all too often it's someone wafting about in a nightie or someone emoting like crazy apparently about their life 'journey'. Pfft!
