So start with 10 and grow some Nellers :¬)

Not like I said 20 x 400 at mile pace (yes I have done this off 60)

So should I be doing, say 6-8 weeks of anaerobic endurance stuff (quick but short recoveries, 400-800m reps) then 6 weeks of speed (shorter and quicker but longer recoveries, 200-400m) or should I just do a mix then on any given week?

How much time do you have ?

Ideally yes I would do a period of 200, 400s and 800s off 60 -90

When homing in I would keep doing ONE of the sessions above once a week and then do

another harder session with the longer recoveries

in that case 3 week of the first lot

2 weeks of a mix

then 2 weeks on pure hammer time

Only do 1 speed session race week

NICE

Sandy mile, Rosehip. Same thing, surely?;-) And I meant 8 weeks between Reading and Sandy rather than from now.
