Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am very confused by the "current mileage build-up" page

I am probably being very dim, but a bit baffled by the above page. I clicked on the link for 1 hour 30 minutes, as I am runing a race in a few weeks time, and it gave me this as the stats:

4 3 (4) 18.5 (19) 3:13:13 (3:22:57) 10 (8.6) 10:28 (10:47)

Which is fine. However I then clicked on the link for a two hour half (as I am running one in September) and it gaive me this:

15 2 (3) 14.9 (17) 2:24:44 (3:12:33) 10 (7.2) 9:41 (11:14)

Now unless I'm missing something, the numbers in the brackets should change (as they are what other people have been doing) but the other numbers are what I have done, so should be identical in both sets of figures. No?

I will alert Fetch if it's an error, but normally thins sort of thing comes down to me not understanding the system.

Sorry, should say the first figures are for a one hour 30 10 miler.

Ok - I've looked at mine - I assume you meant the 1.30 ten mile target? If I click on that and then the 2 hr Half, my numbers are identical, and the numbers in brackets change.

Yeah, that's what I assume should happen. Can't work out why my numbers change.

I *think* it works backward from the day of the race when calculating weekly totals.

So, for example, a race on a sunday, takes monday to sunday as a week. But a race on a saturday takes sunday to saturday as a week. When I toggle between two races in the way you describe, (I think) my sunday long runs move from one week to the next.

Ah - that would make sense - both my planned races are on Sundays.

See I did wonder about that, but both my 10 miler (New Forest, 14th July) and my Half mara (Barnes Green, 29th September) are on Sundays?
