Big Al Widepants
So bad. Felt like offering up a wee prayer during the latter stages of the Moray Marathon in September as it was that painful. Felt a bit like sacrilege tho.

Hmm... I don't know - I think God's interested in everything you do, and if it's hurting, why not? It's not as if you were asking him to smite the other runners so you could win!

Hey diddly-ho children!
Just thought I'd let you know that I can't smite everyone else because it's unfair on the atheists.
And Gobi won't let me.

Hi, I am a God botherer. As many know on this site I am far from perfect.
I am happy clappy but in the wrong church for all that.
Running and Church is not easy as most races are on Sunday mornings. I think that running is also a religion and its hard to worship both. Recently I have preferred to be at one with God in Richmond Park!

Hi Lord
Yeah, we kinda figured you'd gotten over that smiting stuff about the time the testaments swapped over.
We know you dig fast running, and are up for a bit of help with that though - like Elijah in 1 Kings 18 ish...
"Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain came on and Ahab rode off to Jezreel. The power of the LORD came upon Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel."
We wouldn't mind a bit o'that running hundreds of miles faster than a horse stuff, just occasionally, if you don't mind.
I know you're not willing to impinge upon Gobi's free will, but you could kick his a$$, right?
Amen.

Le Greg - new improved recipe
oh, and while you're at it... Doing my first triathlon next spring, so a bit of that parting of the sea trick would be way cool. I'll shout when.
Ta.
