I've started running again, and been stopped by my dodgy knees, which have never really recovered from pregnancy. Would like to get going - any recommendations for jogging buggies? How do people on here find them if you've tried one?

I haven't, but I know somebody who has Davina's and says it's quite good. Though she wasn't a runner or anything before so not sure it would hit the spot if you want a 'substitute' or something to use to build up running 'fitness'. I should thinmk it would be good though. Suggest you read the reviews on Amazon?

So how are all the baby joggers getting on?
I am loving it and fortunately my boy is too ! The joys of maternity leave and the weather getting better, we are sometimes out for 1.5-2 hours at a time! I am learning 'heart rate' training too, so keeping HR low and pushing buggy has slowed my pace significantly, but all feels great so far. Let's hope the endurance of pushing a buggy counts for something! Building up to Stratford half on 26th April.

I just started proper with the buggy a month or so ago, as I've read not to use the jogging buggies before 6 months, but I'm building up gradually with RW beginners schedule. Still hoping to be good for the Glasgow Women's 10k in May, even if I have to walk some bits. LOVING my Baby Jogger buggy! I'm not sure if pushing the buggy helps or not, since it must be harder work but I think I am leaning some of my weight on the handles even when I try not to. Looking forwards to trying a run without it to see how much fitter I have really got...
clare - very impressed with the training! Are you doing the race with the buggy or solo?

Katypie -- I bought a DVD called baby2body (see baby2body.co.uk) which is a pre and post natal workout. It turned out to be quite challenging, and I only did it once when pregnant! I might try it again, post.
I also have one called Sleak and Lean by Tracy Mallet, which is in sections. It's not specifically post natal, but apart from the abs section which will be too hard for a while, most of it is do-able after a baby.
I am dying to go for a run. Will probably have to wait another 3 weeks. But I am also interested in jogging with a buggy. Can you jog at all with a normal pram -- or would I get told off by someone? I tried it very slowly today for about 50 meters and it seemed OK. If not, what baby joggers are good for young babies. Most of the ones that say "from birth" also say "not for jogging".
I am SO dying to start running again...much more than when I was pregnant, when I didn't miss it at all. I am thinking of entering the London 10K and/or a Race for Life which I could even walk-jog if I have to.

Left Foot - what sort of pram have you got? I've got an Out n About Nipper 360, and would be happy to run shortish distance (up to around half an hour) with it. It goes off-road (we've taken it up to the Lakes and abused it there), and has a fixable front wheel. If I was going to run for longer than 30 mins though I'd be looking for a proper running pushchair - either BabyJogger, or the Instep Nipper Sport (basically mine with fixed bigger wheels). I think they both say from six months, but I'd use them for slightly younger babies as long as baby was holding head themselves, and well padded. Bear in mind I have big babies though!

Have got a Bugaboo, currently set up in "lying down" mode. Probably totally unsuitable for jogging, but I can't figure out what would the difference be between walking and light jogging for say 20 minutes.
I'm so impatient to get some cardio exercise, I'm actually thinking about getting a cheap £35 exercise bike for indoors.
It's really funny, because when I was pregnant, I really couldn't be a*rsed. Except for swimming.
