He doesn't go to many Arsenal games full stop.

It will be our first spurs wsl match - they are at lane for their first home match, we’ve never made it out to Leyton orient (I used to live next to it: I’m not in a hurry to go back)

Nope but I like watching them, I know when I see a foul and I know when I see a shit ref, that comes from watching 600+ games.

47k is great going for a WSL game. Meanwhile in the conference, Notts County were excellent, and illustrated just how good you have to be to have a sniff of automatic promotion from the conference. York deserved to lose today, but look to be a competitive top half side in the conference |

To be honest, you see more of the game and have a better insight from the TV. I remember going to a Spurs v Chelsea game, and in real time it looked like Torres had cheated, however the televised coverage proved beyond doubt he had done nothing wrong. |

I don’t agree with all of that. Yes on telly you get the slow motion replays and can see incidents in detail. However at a game and in a good seat you get a better overall view of the game and players on the pitch that you don’t get on telly. Granted a bad seat behind the goals and you lose that perspective.

I agree Bazoaxe that you get to see what you want to see. Not what the producer shows you. But with regard to finer detail, you can't beat the tele.

So, for example, the producer can influence how a particular player has played. You don't see the great movement. But everything that matters, e.g. fouls, offside, ball out of play, etc, is better from the sofa.

I think that too, you see the pattern of players on the field more clearly.

Or, you could be at Hillsborough, when bloody big vertical stanchions are in the way and you've not a clue what is going on.
