Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'll be there early as I'm planning on doing my weekend weights session beforehand, I'll wear a Fetch top so you can recognise me when you arrive :-)

My best guess is we'll have about 15 running on the day. If we go off in our time bands then that's about five different groups to go off, and I imagine most will want to stay and cheer a bit, so the whole thing will take about an hour to run.

Can we have a couple of goes at it? Just in case we miss with the first one?

I'm handing flyers out around Walton tomorrow in an attempt to get the main stand full with spectators, not that there would be any pressure on the runners to perform of course :-)

Yep, fireworks all taken care of.

Party poppers count as fireworks, don't they?

Sub 9:30 & my offer of motivational grunting not good enough for you John?

If we ask Speedie nicely, he might get us both round in 8:10 (and you can go for less, obv)?

A great afternoon despite the FREEZING cold!! Some great running, especially from those having to wait until the last group.
