Haven’t played since school but I think I can remember the rules. Just off to download the app.

By the way, if people are confused the chess.com app is called Chess - Play and Learn (chess.com is the developer). I am on there as 'thechunkywizard' as Chunkywizard was taken

Velociraptor
I think I'd have to learn all over again, on an actual board.

I posted this on fetch's blog before I discovered this thread...I'm one of the old timers who formed most of the membership of over the board clubs. These are now all mothballed because of the pandemic, so some of these players are playing online. Also with a lot of new players coming on board because of being locked up at home there's a lot more interest now which I'm pleased to see. There's a lot of good quality online tuition available, I'd recommend John Bartholomew who runs Chessable, and has some very well explained youtube videos - especially his chess fundamentals and climbing the rating ladder series.
