I have a 13 month old cocker spaniel and have just started taking him out once a week just for about 2 miles. He is no good off the lead to run and at the moment he is just on his retractable lead. Can anyone recomend a good lead for running with probably hands free. He is very strong, don't know if that would make a difference to what kind of lead. Thanks in advance.

No! Greeting dogs out walking is my limit. I heard about Canicross a few years ago during Marcothon - running every day in December. Running with dog(s) with harness & lead is popular in Scotland.
