Just cut it to a level that ou are happy with. 10 miles might be enough, even less if necessary, but you just need the long slow bit and its all relative. At 10mm, 12 miles would be two hours. Two hours is plenty unless you are training up.
Dont ditch the LSR, just tailor it to your needs.
