Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

C Block - there's no place like it.

We had issues with our email servers yesterday. We normally send an email out to the company when there are incidents like this. But, well; the email servers... I had to trot round a huge office telling groups of people the situation and ask them to pass it on to their colleagues as they arrived. I was very polite until I got to the last department and was tired of repeating myself, so just said "Email's fucked".

When our email serves go down, I can often still pick up email on my phone. There have been occasions when IT have emailed me to ask me to send an all staff email, letting colleagues know the email is down...

Fizz :-)
We get those quite a lot - but generally only after the servers are back up again :-)

I think I deserve a "succinct business communications" award. (It was a department I knew would not take offence.)

Hm. Apparently it is Random Acts of Kindness day today.
And HR have planned it all out for us by providing chocs and cards to pass on to random team members.
