Where are all the buggy runners? I've looked for a thread and can't find one. Does no-one here buggy run? Or does no-one want to talk about it? Anyways, buggy runner here. Ran with first till she got to 2 years old and wanted to run instead of sit. Baby has just turned 6 months so I'm digging out the Out n About Nipper Sport so I can get running again. Not run since I was about 25 weeks pregnant! |

I've never invested in a proper running buggy, but I have been known to lock the front wheels of our double decker and take Fred and George out for a trot. Handles like a shipping container! |

That must be hard work pushing that! Oof! The Sport has a fixed front wheel which takes some getting used to, but it's an amazing buggy. Can go on any terrain with ease. Though I normally only run with it on pavements and my paved Park Run, when they were a thing. |

It's a decent workout. We live close to a towpath, which is useful because that thing was not made for corners. Always toyed with the idea of a running buggy, but thought they were a bit pricey for the use I'd likely get out of it. Those two are a few days shy of their second birthday, so their buggy days are pretty much numbered. |

I've run with my daughter in her wheelchair which is quite heavy and anything beyond half-a-mile is really tiring. I visited an exhibitor at a Disabled Living event in 2019 and they gave a price of £2k for a modern new running buggy which is a bit pricey. As she is nearly 14, I have probably missed the boat even for a second hand one.

I loved running with this buggy when ours were small. Baby Jogger XC bestbuggy.co.uk I still have it in the garage and if anyone is close to Eastbourne it is free to a good home. The red fabric is a bit sun faded and the handle foam is split but does include a rain cover. If anyone is interested I’ll dig it out and make sure it’s all present and correct and the tyres aren’t perished. |

I got my nipper Sport second hand in brand new condition. I think there's quite a healthy market for them as people hopes tend to be higher than their reality. £2k is a LOT 😬 |

I bought a nipper sport recently. Need to try it for a proper run but need to wait for the ice rink outside to disappear. It’s great for walking off-road, just wouldn’t use it in a shop.

We buggy ran with both of ours - they are 6 and 9 now but the youngest is so light (and lazy!) she still went around parkrun last year with her dad. I refuse to buggy run with her now because she's a total deadweight for me! Can't remember what buggy ours was but it had great suspension and cosy toes. |
