I'm still in "never again" mode. I'm trying to work out how much money I'll lose by dropping out of Windermere  I was so annoyed yesterday that I just left my hotel with a night, prepaid, still on my booking, bought a train ticket back to Grimsby and cleared off home! Don't know if that was a reaction to the race, or the "quality" of the "hotel" |

Someone said the Argus had a good photo of Kazza coming across the line looking heroic but I'm buggered if I can find it. If anyone spots it post a link, eh? Thanks.

feeling a bit stiff today - lucky to get appt with physio when i got back yesterday - feel a bit bruised after sports massage - but i can feel it has helped - she says no evidence of ligament or tendon damage - just a tight quad with swelling around right knee - back next week so she can check everything again and then i will be good to go looking back i must say i really enjoyed the atmosphere - not that fussed that i ended up running a half marathon and walking a half marathon - running partner wants to sign up for next yr - but i think the steep road camber was the cause of problem - and nowhere to train for that - so probably won't join her :/ |

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.
As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.
