Other information is at en.wikipedia.org . It is also said that it is the geological start of the Pennines, possibly. Anyway, here is a picture of it from closer up. If you look very closely, there is a bench to the right, behind it. Yes, there, just through the railings. Not too obvious? O.K, i'll put up a better photo.
