Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

SWMBO now knows and understands the requirement of using the correct grind for different methods of brewing. (Coarse grounds + espresso machine = Epiphany Moment ;-) )

I haven't. I don't even drink Starbucks coffee in Starbucks, it's one of the few places where I'll opt for a cup of tea instead.

I bought some inexpensive ground coffee in Gran Canaria because we liked it while we were there, and am looking forward to finding out whether it travels well.

Nope. No Starbucks for me either.

In coffee-spotting news, Lidl have Columbian and Guatemalan beans: £4.99 for 454g I think; and they look like a stock item rather than a special. Also six types of (fairtrade) Percol ground: three blends, three single origins for £2.50 a pack.

Sainsbury's specially selected £2.50 a pack as well, ground and those Colombian beans RS spoke so highly of ;-).

Zorba, give them a go. Personally I've no experience of the Starbuck's foil bags, but their little tins I quite liked.
