Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

And feel free to give it a shout as to how it performs for you ;-)

Is it a dedicated grind or a for multi? (intended for *just* one brew method or a combo)

Well done Dvorak. Were you posting from Aldi? Do you work for their PR department or are you just an aspiring hack?

"I'm speaking today to Dvorak McCoffeeheid; our man on the floor in Aldi. Over to you Dvorak. What's the scene with the bean at the global discount supermarket?"

Good ad placement at the top of this page ... for me anyway. In case no one else has seen it ~ footprintcoffee.co.uk

Not sure why but it might be of interest :-)

No, I have an ad which asks if I am in the top 5% of companies achieving digital transformation. (Answer: no.)

I'm not doing that well as a pitchman then, RS - those coffees are in LIDL :-p. I have actually been in Aldi and Lidl since posting and the big bag beans are actually only £3.99. Todays purchase however came from that haunt of aficionados, Home Bargains. Percol Black and Beyond espresso (filter grind). I paid £1.39 for a 227g but bafflingly online prices are anything from £2.79 (Ocado) to £7.74.

[I can never remember which is which ~ geographic location, usually. But not which brand is where ... so, for a good while, I've relied on refering to the pair as 'ALidli' :-o ]

Have braved town in search of 'Just In Case' coffee from my dealer. I have plenty ... but ... ;-)

I picked up some more 'Old Brown Java' and added 'Continental Blend' to the stash ...~

Story: Roasted blend from central America. The beans are roasted until the oils flow freely leaving them dark and shiny.

Taste: Black as hell strong as death sweet as love, this coffee leaves a sweet after taste. Excellent for a dark espresso coffee

I also picked up some decaff beans for SWMBO ~ ground for her to use in the espresso machine. So she can now have espresso (and the coffee brews which use espresso) or French Press. It'd be a whole lot easier if she'd get in the habit of grinding for purpose ;-)

RS, you will appreciate my delight this week: I always get paid cash for two of my yoga classes, as the group doesn'y have a bank account. I usually put the money (£40) in my wallet. But this time, I didn't have my wallet with me, so I popped it into the zipped breast pocket of my jacket and... There already was £80 in there I had forgotten to transfer to my wallet from two previous sessions! :-o So I have a richness I don't usually experience, over the xmas period, where I am unable to earn as clients are elsewhere engaged :)

Off to Waitrose for some treats, no coffee, as I still have plenty of those Lavazza beans left, as well as Aldi and I bought some things for my new shed/medicine making workshop too, as well as paying for a massage therapy session, as my back was killing me after some very hard work coppicing last week. I had some money left over after that, so I filled the tank of the van with £30 diesel and am feeling extremely rich :)

Fantastic Hann!! A bit like my recent £50+ water rebate as I'm on a meter.

I can completely relate to the above. Happy Christmas!

Non-tea drinker here and nowhere to talk about the caffeine bean, so I thought I'd start a thread. ...
