Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Set the target in miles There's a route somewhere if you want to pick a particular place.

Hi, could you add me in for this challenge. I've never set a swimming target before, so hoping this will encourage me to get to the pool more often. It's ok to leave me at kms.

Much appreciated.

Star - you're in. So please put in a target in miles and then you're good.

Hiya, is it the target on my training page I update? I've just done that, I'm aiming for 30.

On the spreadsheet. Link over on the right. Put it in the cell next to the word lm under your name. Use the spreadsheet to record your swimming. It will calculate the miles done and then you can use the wiki page to show how far you have got.

First swim of the year yesterday afternoon. Pool overall was busy, which is not unusual, and there were others in the lanes, and not just the head-up ladies who go every week. One of them obviously got what he wanted for Xmas and just had to go and test out his tri-suit, snorkel and hand paddles. In all the 120+ sessions I've swum I've never seen a lane swimmer using a snorkel.

Finally did a bit of that swimming this morning. The water level is very high, and the temperature was a chilly 7.3*, but it was very still and clear. The coots decided we needed some company so swam alongside for a while :-)
