Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

42.1/100 after what was supposed to be a 15 mile run today, but ended up being just under 12 - too warm for me to run any further, even that was hard enough!

8.1 miles on Saturday as I ran to and from Cheadle Hulme parkrun. Was running late and literally arrived as the RD said 'thats everything so lets walk over to the start' so was still out of breath when we set off!

Tour completed, tough week in the heat. I see a few of you are also suffering with getting too hot on the longer runs.

AL I agree, the Friday night run is a good one, Saturday's 12 miler is a slog though. You basically run out 6 miles along the coastal path, turn round and run back, no shade at all & with a mile on the beach.

I went out easy as not chasing any times or places, so it was good to have some legs left for the last few miles. Entered it again :-), such a good week.

53/100 - easy week this week. I may try and clear the bugs that have accumulated in my home circle, give me some interest #posttourblues.

I'm entered for next year too :)
Well done on the week SirKK - I hope it isn't quite so hot next year!

Nice one AL. It was my slowest tour overall out of the 3 I've done, but blaming the heat :-).

Yes I hope it's a lot cooler next year.

Good luck on the recovery.
