The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
I think DeeGee, it would be like parkrun, you'd want a team of responsible admins to be able to spread the load across week to week. And lots of volunteers (a "pipeline") of content, to stitch together. Though for content, to be honest, you could just read snippets of Fetch's site email on the updates of new features and services and so on.
I don't think lack of stuff to chat about and to record was the problem. More the hassle of curating it, stitching it together, with all the great little musical joiners and so on , and then publishing it?
I'd volunteer to do a snippet of content every now and again, but sorry, can't volunteer to be on the editing team. I've got too many things that I'm failing at already! G
Content supplier's I don't think would be an issue but we need Fetch's approval before anything can be sorted or started on. It's ok talking about it but permission needs to be forthcoming and if I remember correctly I don't think Fetch was overly keen but I may be wrong. All content imho should be sent through Fetch before publication and this is the issue Fetch doesn't always have the time as mentioned in an earlier post a page or so back.

I did say in my suggestion last page that publishing under FE brand would require Fetch's permission. I didn't think of every word needing vetted though. Absolutely agree it's up to Fetch of course.
But it's moot if no one is willing to do it anyway! G

Contributors We love getting contributions. Here's how:
1) find somewhere with minimal background noise 2) recording on a smartphone is fine 3) start with "Hello Fetchies, it's..." 4) a couple of minutes is a good length 5) don't worry about ums, aahs and pauses. We can edit them out. 6) email the file to podcast@fetcheveryone.com
