Would like to say I ran this one but had to give No. to fellow club runner as still recovering from Car Crash.

Well done to all those who ran hope to see you soon when fully recovered.
Eternal plodder
My first 10k, maybe still a bit ambitious but I'm giving it my best shot.
First ever top ten percent finish and a PB.
Had a few niggles followed by laziness recently so this might be a bit of a struggle!! I'm not getting my hopes up for a PB.

RESULT...Well, niggles, lack of training and 7lb weight gain all meant a slow time, I was expecting it though so I'm still pleased with the outcome and that I managed to run the whole distance
Agent Orange
49.39 on the watch. Went off a bit fast and was hanging on by the end. But really chuffed to come in sub-50 as holidays had reduced training, so not in tip-top form.

Course and arrangements were conducive to a good time.

Now need to build strong shelf to hold medal!
My first ever 10k. Very chuffed with time! MrB ran too 1.04 something.
First race back after injury, so pleased with time
blue (pete)
My first ever real running race. Beautiful sunny morning - god I felt knackered afterwards. Mrs b(p) and youngest cheered me on and cheered me in!
Messed up my timing - pressed stop instead of LAP on my watch, and it was stuck on 15mins for a couple of km's. Wasn't a big fan of the grassy surfaces and twisty bits, but can't complain. Was happy to have completed the race with no breathing / hamstring difficulties, so hopefully I am back to full strength, if not full race readiness. Great to run with KatieB, and nice to get shouts from loads of people on the way round.
Too Much Water
Not a PB on a course that was not PB friendly, but still quite close. Ran quite well. Met KatieB and Diva which made up for missing the PB. First time (but not the last) my name was misspelt in race results. Watch time was about 47:10
I messed up the timing of this....but live and learn etc. May have just squeezed a pb. Felt i ran well and as fast as i could on the day. Can't ask more than that. Just to add, twas great having an encouraging fetch just ahead of me at the end. He really is a legend.
