Jonesy the Jog wrote: I have done that for some workouts but for these sessions I've no idea what the workout is going to be beforehand. Last nights was based around loops of various distances involving hills and reference points not so much distances i.e. jog to the bus stop and then hard effort up the hill to the 4th tree and repeat 4 times but I suspect the order you do the various loops in changes every time so even if you knew the general plan, I'm not sure you could pre-program it. On my warm up lap I could avoid them but during the parkrun itself where you can't pick your line there was a bit of squelching/sliding about (I didn't wear trail shoes). Nothing like Dinton or Cali though. I might have a mini-taper next week for a proper crack at it. My 5k prediction is still just under 20mins (19:58) which might just be do-able at a track but I reckon a 20.30 parkrun is the absolute best I could hope for.
