Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

About Me

After my brother and sister in law pressed me [us] into doing the Great North Run back in 2000, I have never looked back; I joined a club called the Stainland Lions, because well I was struggling to get out there- what a life changer! The millennium bug was well and truly dead at the end of 2000, unlike my running bug, long live the running bug!!!

Currently, I have just signed off as the Race Director of the Bluebell Trail 10; the race full after11 years of building. In 2011- I was the Immediate Past Chairman of the Stainland Lions, understandably, Chairman 2010, the best role of all.. you get too lead, and drive your club forwards!

Became a Coach - Leader in Running Fitness, whoops I need to update my CRB, for anyone who hasn't taken this qualification, your are insured to lead running groups.

Oh Bluebell Race Director 2006-08; some race with a river crossing and the hill from hell...Trooper Lane....'I trooped the trooper'.

Highlight of this year so far, Coniston Half Marathon and being Race Director of the Bluebell Trail 10, for another occassion and looking forward to Windermere Marathon 18th May 2014.
