The Garmin 235 GPS went haywire again - see map between mile 3 and 5, thereafter the GPS was way off course, nowhere near where I actually ran.
It's a good job I had also worn my Garmin 310XT as a back up in case this happened. See that entry for the real run.
This Garmin recorded 8.64 miles whereas the 310XT was 10.20.

One or two really pacey runs amongst a couple of slow runs. I'm guessing the Garmin could be to blame in places.

I'm just uploading the 310XT record so we'll see how that compares. Give me a few minutes to add the notes.
I have reset the 235 - it took over an hour to do that, re-enter my personal data, reset all the bike, running and walking data fields, re-pair the watch with my HRM, and re-pair the watch with all my devices.
That is why I was reluctant to reset it the first time I had problems. I hope that has fixed it.
It is a long winded job and my fingers are crossed for you.
