Warmed up (having nonspecific dissent from my ankles at the moment, need to try different shoes, it's not as if I don't have enough), had a reasonable mile or two, then it was laborious. A bit overdressed for the weather. I believe today's heart rate trace. But I haven't ground to a halt yet.

Aye. New one to me. I'm wondering whether it's from driving the hire car or from the very flat shoes I'm wearing to work.

I have taken to doing warm ups and don't care if I look like a twat. Things less grumbly as a result 👍 those are some good miles. :)

Warm ups are well worth doing, though my "warm up" is just a very sedate mile or two at the start of the run, which also gives the pleasing illusion of a progressive run :)
