The_Saint Spent 5 miles unproductively cursing at myself for missing the turn off the slag tip, could be a nice race with a bit more direction arrows and mile markers - oh and although not such an essential issue to get right as a road race, its actually about 11.3 miles without my extra bit. WildeRover Not sure of my time - I will have to wait for the official results. Well, there are a few challenges involved in this one. First the elevation lots and lots of hill packed into it. Second the terrain - rough gravelly slopes, fast rocky downhill paths, rutted grass paths - you need to keep your concentration or risk your ankles. Finally the 10 miles are actually more than 11 (about 11 1/4 I think). Needs a bit of tinkering with the marshalling, but a very nice challenging run. (Or quite viscious if you'd prefer) Glad that it was ideal running weather today though. Trying to do that in the heat, or windy conditions could be a whole different kettle of fish.
