Interview with Bowman 🇸🇪

Bowman 🇸🇪 says: Thank you so much!
Well i'm not that keen on racing really, so i might choose a route, and it would be a nice trail run, where i would be alone, and see no civilisation for a few hours

Bowman 🇸🇪 says: Thank you, i appreciate it, never thought i would win this

Yes it has been great ride so far, i don't know if it culminates now, i actually hope not, but it would be nice if my A-race in a few weeks treats me well and i can get it to work on the day, and leave it all out there.
The plan to stay motivated is to stay healthy and fit, that is a nice feeling.
Also maybe to be as good as i can be as a 45 year old non runner :), whether that is a sub 3h marathon, or maybe sometime a 100k, i don't really know, the process is more important than the goal for me.

Bowman 🇸🇪 says: Thanks!
I'm not really into sports . 😂
But maybe Berkeley marathon, would be nice to be there amongst all "crazy" runners and experience the ultra runner vibe. Seems genuine.

Bowman 🇸🇪 says: Thank you!
No not really, i compete with myself, and get inspired and motivated by normal people.
The people here for instance, are my inspiration, no matter if they trying to get through their first parkrun, or trying to get under 4h on a marathon. The normal folks trials and tribulations strike a chord in me and motivates me to be the best me.

Bowman 🇸🇪 says: Thank you!
Humm,
Starter: a ”Toast Skagen” Prawns and mayo on toast with lemon roe, dill and so on.
Main: a nice grilled medium rare steak with nice veggies and béarnaise sauce.
Dessert: some kind of mud cake, thick chocolate, with whipped cream.
Probably washed down with Lemon pepsi max. I'm not a big drinker

Bowman 🇸🇪 says: Thank you so much, Im very chuffed about this

Well i think my focus on the process rather than the goal works for me.
Also one step at the time, right now for instance, i'm only thinking about lifting up my bag and walking to the dressing room to change for a run, next step, i will take after that.
I also jump a lot between small steps in my head and long term goals, making sure my small steps works for the long term goals. And also, under promise, and over deliver, to yourself

When its hard, just get the shoes on, go out for a bit, no matter what pace, if it feels really tough, wait a while and see how it feels after a few Km, usually it sorts itself out.
And when it feels really crappy, i tend to use that to think, "well this is a good feeling to train to get better at".
And, you never regret a run!
Maybe i've always been a "doer", when i was younger, a few work mates called me "All in Kim"

Bowman 🇸🇪 says: Tack! I think definitely consistency with “good” milage, and most important workouts must be progressive long runs.
But also that’s the only thing I’ve tried training wise, so I have nothing to compare to

Bowman 🇸🇪 says: Thanks!
Deep question, I don’t really know. I’m not that interested in or impressed by anyone like “famous”, at least not so I would care to meet any one in particular.
I would rather meet some of my mates from here for an easy run and a chat.
Or maybe just some normal people from the stone age or even longer back.
To see how they where :D
