Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

The good news: went on the scales for the first time in a couple of weeks. Been on holiday and had a few tinctures plus a helping or three of crisp-based snacks. But, I've actually dropped a pound. How? Must be the worry of not being ready for the mara in October. Which brings me to...
The bad news: my running is total cack at the moment. Didn't do a great deal while I was away but not nothing. I ran 6 times in 12 days and I thought that would be sufficient to keep up the residual fitness. However, every run I do just now is torture. 8 miles this morning at 7am. The first 6.5 in an hour dead. Thought it was never going to end. The last 1.5 which I had planned to run - well I just walk/jogged it back to the house and collapsed onto a chair.

I'm actually getting slower as I get thinner!

Hmmm, do you feel lethargic BAL? Maybe you are not giving your body enough energy for running???
