Buying a food item for instant consumption but actually having to make it yourself. The usual culprit is a cup of tea on the train and being given a cup of hot (never hot enough) water, a tea bag and some plastic milk. Yesterday I bought a chip butty at the chip shop (don't judge me) and was given chips and a bread bun wrapped in cling film. Aaaaargh!

Kids & parents at Gym/Pool changing rooms. Kids are turfed out of pool at 1200. I wait in jacuzzi until 12 15, then go to shower hoping that all the kids have finished. Still have to bloody wait for a shower ![]() |

SusiesueH- never order a kebab in Thirsk. They come with the meat wrapped seperately in foil, the salad in the polystyrene tub and you have to CHOOSE chilli sauce or garlic sauce. CHOOSE??? Most people eat kebabs while shit faced at 2am, you can't expect them to be capable of constructing their own kebab, they should come ready made to shove in your face! Don't know if this is a North Yorkshire thing or what? |

People sharing utter bollocks on Facebook. It takes about ten seconds to fact-check most things people. (The old "112 from your mobile connects you to the police even if you don't have a signal" is being shared by some running club members. |

completely agree Carp. It does my head in. How they can't even spot that they're so far fetched is beyond me. I sometimes share a link to snopes to point out that they're fake

I commented with a 'be careful, this is a hoax' and link to a police webpage giving genuine advice on what to do if you're signalled to pull over by an unmarked police car. I also post to refute the 'syrian refugees get a free house and no bills to pay while people in flood areas get nothing' that someone I know has shared. Thst time another person commented saying it was a bad thing to post. A few days later the original sharer shared exactly the same thing. Obviously nothing we said got through. That's a defriending offence. I think I may be getting a reputation as a know-it-all. |
