Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well, that's two reasons to go back out, rather than one.

The normal point to remember that you forgot to get petrol is when the tank stops running on fumes. Or, in my case, the normal point at which I discovered that my ex-husband had forgotten to get petrol...

Doctors are shut Wednesday afternoon and the nearest garage is 5 miles away. Think i'll wait till tomorrow.

And filling up REALLY does grind my gears big time. Even if i'm not paying for the fuel I still hate doing it.

Three pages ago, I was just grinding my gears at the fact I had done something that ground my gears. And it appears I inadvertantly ground someone elses gears. Now the fact that someone else ground their gears unnecessarily (got it right this time!) at me for no reason has caused me to grind mine back at them entirely unnecessarily (wooo, again!).

This is one hell of a circle grind going on now.

Paying for parking and filing up the car with fuel both grinds my gears. I can't bring myself to spend £50 in one go on fuel!!
