Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thankfully, the only time that has ever happened to me was when on my way to collect my VLM race pack. Everyone waiting on the platform was very considerate and totally sympathised for all concerned. We walked to an alternative station and made other arrangements. If it happened on race day or if I was due at a meeting, then there's always another day. All those involved in the incident must be given precedence irrespective of their situation.

People who say they don't have a microwave, in a way that suggests they think they are some sort of domestic goddess by not using one, and you are a junk food eating slob if you do have one.

[My ex-MiL once said to me, "It's easy for you, you've got a microwave," as if microwave ownership was a genetic quirk rather than a matter of spending some money in Comet and, in those days, wiring a plug.]

I don't have a microwave simply due to having a small kitchen. Didn't stop someone buying my young son a bed warming toy for Christmas that you heat up in the microwave!

Surrey - a friend who has been to my house bought me bath bombs for Christmas and the one before some bubble bath. She should know I only have a shower as she only had one too and we often mention that fact.

haha Red Squirrel,

I'd like to find out who actually uses those bath bombes as I threw about 10 out recently which my mum gave me for christmas (about 5yrs ago). Also soap on a rope, ridiculous!
