I have made the decision to clear the dirty spray from my windscreen so give it a generous squirt and set off the wipers to clear the sweet smelling blue liquid and grime thereby making the world look sparkly and new. Except that this newness doesn't last. In an ideal world it'd be squirt and 2 wipes. But some committee has decided that it shall always be squirt and 3 wipes - the purpose of the 3rd wipe is to smear grime from the side of the screen and I have to repeat the process forever.

In Manchester yesterday with the family I discovered that NCP car parks have been designed you can park your car for an astronomical cost but once you're wedged into a space you can't not get out of the car. What is the point? 30% of parking bays were empty because the were impractically small. I don't have a big car and I don't have a sun roof so I was buggered until I found a double space. Sort it out.
