Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

No I'm not one of Vrap's. Although our GP bears enough of a resemblance (short fierce Scottish) to make me believe that she may have a sister in Buxton.....

Yes the obsessions with i-phones. I will never ever queue overnight to buy anything and will never understand why people do. Wait a week ffs and you can walk into the shop and get one. Why do people feel the need to be the first to get something ? Grow the fuck up !

I feel the same bewilderment when I see the queue forming to get on a plane. For some reason unknown to me they all want to leave their comfy seat in the departure lounge to stand around before the flight is called through. Some kind of group madness.

Winded, yes agree. I think it's a sheep mentality. One dipshit does it and then everyone else follows. Although to be fair, sheep are probably a lot more intelligent....

Normally only happens on Ryanair flights and other non-allocated seating airlines though? So usually three types:
Business people who are SOOOOO important they need to get off first (but not so important their employer will pay for them to travel on a civilised carrier
Groups who actually want to sit together

People who want to get their maximum sized hand luggage into the overhead compartment and not have to wedge it under their feet

Not always Duchess. I flew long haul with Virgin a few weeks ago and people were doing it. And the seating was already allocated.
