I did point out to him once that I was a woman not a girl and definitely animated, so not a doll. He didn't take it well, probably a contributing factor to getting sacked.

I did get called doll by a patronising Kick-boxing instructor and was quite annoyed about it - I tend to react more to tone and what I read into it than the actual word itself.
