MPs demanding that bankers are banned from working in the city again due to their role in financial crash - the bankers did nothing illegal, they merely operated within the regulations laid down by the regulators who in turn took their steer from the government who are made up of who, erm, MPs! Sick and tired of the banker bashing – yes they weren’t very good and they took risks, but the ultimate blame lies with the government who allowed them to do it. (And don’t even get me started on ‘joe public’ who have collectively borrowed so far beyond their means it’s untrue!)
