People who race to be the first down from the top deck of the bus but then stand at the bottom of the steps letting all the bottom deck off first. Merge people, merge!
People who walk zigzags (usually wearing headphones) down the street at very low speed semi-aware of your presence behind but unwilling to let you pass.
People who want to be the first *on* the bus and press to get to the front but haven't in the intervening time bothered to get any money or bus pass ready.
People who walk up and down stairs very slowly because they're looking at their phones.

["If you elect people you can be rid of them. Not a question of good or bad. I have no idea how good or bad this royal family are, nobody does, it does not matter. The idea of a royal family is incorrect."]
[Robert Mugabe. Adolph Hitler. Both elected..... no sign of anything except death removing either of them. Define "good" and "bad"? Assumes a moral framework based on...what? Judaeo Christian tradition always supported the divine right of kings. The idea of a royal family is fine - it's what level of authority you are prepared to cede them, and/or how much you're prepared to accept they fulfil a vital role in our society for every government. Bread and Circuses!
I shall now stop stirring. :-)]

Ours have no authority, whatsoever. Which is good, so let's get rid, they have no purpose, except to justify themselves via a good PR machine. (which backfires occasionally, but if you play the media they want their pound of flesh)
But I take the view they make people look backwards rather than forwards, especially in the UK. I do not like the way they are held up as something/some people to look up to, as some sort of example. They could all be bastards, who knows. They could all be great, who knows. It matters not. I think people should be appreciated for themselves and their abilities, not as an accident of birth.
No sign of Death removing the Royal family either.

Jono.
civil war WS - behead a King, end up with a bloke who becomes a dictator, want a King back.
BTW I would have been a roundhead
All countries, society's need symbols whether they are embodied in a person, Document or flag. Get rid of one, replace with another - GoT my friend, GoT.

Oliver Cromwell: "Right, we've arrested the king. What do we do now? We have no idea how to run the country and we're in big trouble if the king stays." Typical politician really and things have been the same ever since.
