The constant noise from people using power tools in the garden behind us. Now my neighbour has joined in with his petrol mower. FFS, can we not have some peace?

Dio - it's that sort of thing that drives my wife (with her balance/inner ear issues) indoors. Our next door neighbour has a patio of about 2 square metres and she will pressure wash it for hours at a time.

On the subject of noise, that fucking ice cream van blaring a jangly version of the Match of the Day theme when it pulls up on our street.
It always shows up when the weather's warm enough to justify opening the windows. Is it too much to ask for fresh air and a bit of peace and quiet!?!?
I'm sure a lot of people have their own version of this.

The fact that I don't have a fucking ice cream van down my street. I really fancy one right now.

Oranges and Lemons here. When I conducted marriages at the register office with the windows open in the summer months the strains of Match of the Day from an ice cream van could be heard from time to time. Kind of appropriate really especially if during a ceremony. Might have to wait till teatime Teabers

we have ice cream van match of the day here too, an indication of the great Norf/Sarf divide, along with pies, cheaper beer, smoking and lack of exercise ;-).

When I was in Birmingham I recall there being a van that played Yankee Doodle Dandy. It was a such a terrible rendition that it made the theme from Barney sound almost respectful in comparision (though no less annoying, of course).
