Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not liking musicals is pretty much my OH’s only flaw!

Tried to book tickets for Prima Facie, Jodie Comer is touring it and it’s coming to York. No joy, apparently it sold out in 20 minutes.

I was wanting to see that but I don't think it's coming anywhere near me. Too late now anyway

There were only about 6 locations for a week each.

Next week I’m seeing the first amateur production of Les Miserables, a joint venture in Leeds by several groups. My daughter’s friend is in the cast.

I went to see Dear England, the Gareth Southgate play at the National last night. I'll probably end up blogging about it but for now suffice to say I absolutely loved it. Go see it if you get the chance. It's bloody brilliant

Les Mis was amazing. Valjean had an amazing voice, and the rest of the main cast were all brilliant, kids included (I’d forgotten Gavroche). We spotted my daughters friend in several scenes too.

@Meglet that sounds lovely.

@McGoohan I saw it when it first came out (at the National, dah-linggg) but I know it's been updated since. I agree, it's a must-see.

I saw it when it first in the West End. @McGoohan . Also loved it. Cried buckets.
