Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Atonal Miserabilist (AFKA TRO)
In his early days, when trained by Cus D'Amato he had a 'peek-a-boo' style with lots of head movement, hands held high around his chin. When a taller opponent would poke a jab out he'd slip beneath/to one side of it and unleash powerful shots. Also threw combinations.

Mid to late career he lost the head movement, lost the ability to throw combinations and became a one punch KO artist (whilst a p*ss artist out of the ring). Survived a fair while like this, mainly because he cleaned up most of the division when he was good, and opponents entered the ring terrified.

A bit like Ali was mostly remembered for the rope a dope on Foreman/toe to toe brawls with Frazier rather than the far superior fighter pre the Vietnam break, Tyson is remembered as the one punch KO specialist rather than the very skilled fighter he was in the early days.

Cheers TRO - I didn't imagine it then. He was good, and then he became famous. Happens a lot, I think.

I rather lost interest in the fight game around that time I think.
