Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Dear Peoples

I've mapped out this route I was thinking about doing one day in the future (Not giving dates in case any murderers are reading this)

Can you use your knowledge and wisdom to tell me

1. If miles 1-13 are on a pathway
2. If the path is easy to follow
3. If there is anything else I need to think about?
D) Why the fuck do I keep entering marathons and then have to marathon train?
5. Will my nail polish be dry before bedtime?

Anyway... this is the route... http://www.fetcheveryone.com/route-775570

Over to you.....

I was going to get a train to Kingston (Surrey, not Jamaica - no, she asked me) then run to Borough, where I shall treat myself to a lovely burger and smoothie, then get the train home stinking like someone who has just run 20 odd miles.

Sounds like a lovely run. Pretty sure most of it will be on easily found pathway but I've not walked or run it all so can't be sure.

The bit from Kingston to Kew Bridge is towpath, just follows the river, nice and easy to follow. Not sure after that, that's as far as I've gone :-)

The bit around Batterea power station can be a bit hairy with traffic...the thames path isnt easy to find there from my experience.

Also they were (but may be finished) digging up the path from Blackfriars to Borough so expect to get stuck behind gormless tourists there ;)

I've run from Richmond to Putney Bridge a few times, that's straightforward and the path is pretty much on the river. That's Kew to Putney covered. I always get lost between Putney and Battersea and it pisses me off every time. I need a tour guide for that bit.

As for D. This is Fetch's equivalent of the meaning of life question.
