I'd have been confused if I hadn't shut my gob for 14 hours solid. Don't forget, for 13 3/4 hours of that he was having to basically say any old shite to remind us all that he was there.

The pre race brief was a bit of a joke really, an addidas lovin and something about freewheeling! I think most the 1st timers were in a team with vets & had been pre briefed, thats how it was with us.

have to say the change overs seemed to work better this year, the baton was an improvement, even though I was having to knaw it off my own wrist down that last bit of track!
